Summary of the initiatives first two months

First two months have passed since the openeo.biz initiative started and I think it's a good time to summarize the work done so fare.

Firstly the knowledge base is finally starting to shape and gained some valuable content. I've just finished writing the planed introductionary articles:

and I hope that their content is easy to consume for newcomers :)

Also the General organizational culture article rose to quite some size but it probably will still receive plenty of new content during the research.

Many stubs of articles about specific projects, companies, business models and organizational structures ware created and are waiting for more content. One of the bigger ones are:

Initial survey planning

We are starting our research by developing two general surveys to gather some basic information about the open source ecosystem. They are currently in planning stage I we need some feedback about the questions we put there.

We would be very grateful if you could look at them and share your thoughts and suggestions. If you feel that some kind of other survey should be developed alongside please give as a sketch of it.

This is day one for the openeo.biz initiative. The site engine is set up and some startup content has been brought mostly from Wikipedia to our knowledge base.

In this very minute this is a one-man project but I hope you'll like the idea and join in this pursuit for knowledge about the open source ecosystem :)
